Your reading makes me think. "Disaffection." What for? Is it personal or citizen's? For me, as a Russian, a citizen's disaffection is more important. What a pity, I never was in Odessa, though the best Russian writers and the best anecdotes came from Odessa. It's impolite to ask what you were doing in Odessa besides reading books. I love K. Ishiguro's books. And I like your article. Thank you.
