A playful morning of work. I'm now facing a re-edit of the marketing video I skived off swimming to make. Ugh. All I want to do is work on the exciting creative work. Like this. But it's 12:30 and I have a writing call at 2, so I'd better get this out and get the re-edit done so I can relax into my writing this afternoon and not feel stressed out. How do people with 9–5s do any creative work?

Haha!! 9-5er here! I’d say the one positive aspect of a FT job (well aside from paying bills) is that I only have so much time to create and therefore I must pick one thing. I don’t necessarily get sidetracked but the abundance of options. So then, when I really commit, I really make a lot of progress on that one thing. That aspect also helps me avoid burnout as well. Now when I’m trying to balance full time work, plus art show season, plus creativity? That’s a heavy load! (Like May of last year when we were in Foster S3! 😅) speaking of, see you in an hour!
